Synopsis:

Based on the hit 1998 film of the same name, The Wedding Singer is set in 1985 and is based on the trials and tribulations of Robbie Hart – a wannabe rock star cum wedding singer trying to deal with his failed relationship to his former fiancée Linda.

Depressed and full of bitterness, Robbie’s upcoming wedding gigs are hilariously fuelled by his now hatred for anything love-related. They don’t go well. So, he turns to his friend Julia who helps him try and turn his life around, win back Linda and get him involved in her own wedding to the rich, not-so-nice, Wall Street tycoon Glen.

But as their friendship grows, Robbie realises that Julia is actually the girl of his dreams. Can he stop her marrying the egotistical Glen and win her over as only he can – in true 80’s ballad style?
