Synopsis:

Sister Act is a musical based on the 80’s film starring Whoopi Goldberg. Set in the 1970’s it tells the story of larger-than-life Deloris Van Cartier who witnesses a murder and is forced into protective custody at the local convent.

Disguised as a nun, she finds the rigid lifestyle a struggle and so breathes new life into the convent and community as only she can: through the power of disco and inspiring the choir. But in doing so her pursuers find out her hiding place and the chase is on.

Hilarious fun ensues with upbeat songs, and nuns dancing like only nuns can. An uplifting story full of the importance of sisterhood, wherever you are from.
